Terry Yoffe is an Executive, Transition and Career Coach. Terry has been coaching for fifteen years, after several years in both corporate and entrepreneurial roles. She brings an impressive breadth and depth of knowledge about global business relations, which is critical to her work with international clients.
As an executive and business coach, Terry helps her clients maximize their talents and achieve their full potential by using a two-step process: having the client clarify their goals and then developing a focused strategic plan. Terry’s extensive background and experience in diverse business settings gives her a keen insight into her clients’ unique situations. She has coached many high-achieving business professionals ranging from young professionals, to mid-level managers, to C Suite executives, in both corporations and private practice. She helps them remove the obstacles that keep them from breaking through and achieving their desired personal and professional goals. Terry believes that the relationship she builds with her clients, allows them to become courageous, to cut through the stories they tell themselves, and ultimately to step outside of their comfort zones to meet their challenges.

Business/Organizational Leadership Experience
Terry’s business acumen includes Director of Travel Marketing and Sales at Conde Nast, The New Yorker and Bon Appetit; New England Territory Manager of Sales at Women’s Wear Daily; and her successful entrepreneurial career as the founder of both Terry Yoffe Enterprises and TRY Coaching. Combined with nearly twenty-five years in the publishing industry and top-level sales management, Terry’s first-hand knowledge of the drive, personality and challenges that come with being an entrepreneur make her a rare and valuable asset to the clients with whom she works.
Education and Training
Terry’s credentials include her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and her certification Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She served as President on the ICF board, New York City Chapter. Additionally, Terry has achieved both Master and Post-Master Certifications as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner. Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP is an approach to understanding and changing thoughts, feelings, language and behaviors to achieve goals.
She is an Affiliate Member at the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate. She was chosen to participate in the New York University Psychoanalytic Institute’s Fellowship Program. Terry was recognized by Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) as the organization’s 2012 Crystal Prism Award winner for her significant impact and contribution in the area of Mentoring.
